Now, were hiring a Director of Client Strategy to own both the strategy and execution of growth across a portfolio of clients.The RoleAs Director of Client Strategy, you will be both the lead strategist and hands-on media buyer across your client accounts. Youll be responsible for scaling performance through Meta, Google, TikTok, and other platforms while also overseeing how lifecycle, creative, and landing page efforts tie into the broader growth strategy.Youll collaborate with internal specialists (designers, editors, copywriters, email/SMS experts), but youll personally own paid media and act as the primary driver of client performance.Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic OwnershipBuild and lead growth strategies across paid media, retention, and CRORun client calls, deliver reporting, and translate data into clear decisionsIdentify growth opportunities, performance risks, and channel expansion pathsMedia Buying (Hands-On)Own campaign planning, execution, optimization, and scaling across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other platformsManage significant ad budgets with a performance-first mindsetConstantly test creative, targeting, and offers to drive improvements in CAC, MER, and LTVRetention & Lifecycle OversightLead retention strategy across email and SMSWork closely with Klaviyo specialists and copywriters to execute high-performing flows and campaignsTie lifecycle strategy into paid acquisition goals and funnel progressionTeam CoordinationOversee a cross-functional team including designers, video editors, copywriters, and platform specialistsSet priorities, provide creative direction, and ensure execution is aligned with strategyMaintain accountability and communication across all stakeholdersFinancial & Performance InsightUnderstand client business models, cash flow, and key unit economicsAnalyze P&Ls, contribution margins, and funnel-level KPIs to guide spend decisionsAdvise clients on budgeting, product offers, and promotional strategiesWho You Are5+ years of media buying experience (Meta required, Google and TikTok required)Experience overseeing or executing email/SMS strategy (ideally with Klaviyo)Hands-on knowledge of how to grow and operate a Shopify storeStrong grasp of finance and economics: you understand P&Ls, cash flow, and how growth impacts the bottom lineProven client-facing experience youve worked directly with founders, CMOs, or Heads of GrowthComfortable managing cross-functional teams and leading through influenceOperate like an owner: proactive, sharp, decisive, and accountable
