Technical Recruitment Lead @ Hire DigITalent | Technology Staffing, Consulting Our Financial Services client is looking to hire a contract Digital Asset Manager to join their Digital Platform team, an agile and innovative technology group dedicated to delivering cutting-edge digital experiences for clients, advisors, and employees. You will collaborate with platform administrators, release engineers, developers, and business architects to optimize delivery processes, resolve issues, and assess performance. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, as well as external vendors, you will help drive successful change management and production implementations. What You''ll Do: Oversee digital assets within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) DAM system, ensuring proper categorization and accessibility for all business lines and channels. Monitor uploads, enforce metadata standards, naming conventions, and maintain a structured taxonomy. Set up folder structures, fragments, assets, APIs, migrations, and archival processes based on IA/Asset Librarian guidelines. Create procedures for managing AEM Assets features, components, tools, and governance standards. Facilitate a Governance Committee/Center of Excellence to align key stakeholders and DAM users. Perform regular asset audits, remove outdated materials, and use reporting tools to identify risks. Schedule and implement software updates, patches, and application upgrades while ensuring system health. Work with technology and business teams to integrate DAM with other tools and coordinate with marketing, creative, and content teams. Develop training materials, onboard new users, and serve as the primary expert for DAM-related questions. Manage permissions, access controls, and address non-compliance issues to maintain asset security and integrity. What You''ll Need: University degree or Masters degree in technology or business desired Strong understanding of AEM and its DAM capabilities Ability to manage and organize large volumes of digital assets and ensure assets are correctly categorized and tagged Knowledge of metadata standards and digital asset workflows Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal and external teams Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical expertise. Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
