Reporting to the Manager, HR Operations, you''ll collaborate with employees and leaders to deliver value-added services that drive our business forward. Key elements of this role include: As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner you will: Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. Customer Focus: Exhibit a customer-centric mindset, ensuring HR services meet the needs of our stakeholders. Change Agent: Lead and support change initiatives to ensure successful adoption and sustainment. Proactive Collaboration: Work with business leaders to identify HR opportunities and develop strategic plans. Leadership Support: Coach, challenge, and support leaders at all levels to enhance their effectiveness. Policy Guidance: Offer interpretation and guidance on HR policies, legislation, and collective agreements. Employee Support: Assist with employee issues and provide investigation support as needed. HR Initiatives: Lead the planning, delivery, and facilitation of key HR initiatives. Collaborative Solutions: Partner with other support teams to develop and implement the best solutions. Health & Safety Leadership: Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety in all HR activities. These skills will make you successful: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field. Certifications: CPHR certification (an asset). Experience: 8+ years in an HR generalist or specialist role, with experience in a unionized environment. Labour Relations Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in labor relations and workplace investigations. Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Leadership Presence: Demonstrate strong stakeholder management ability with business leaders. Critical Thinking: Analytical skills with a focus on collaboration and achieving ''win-win'' outcomes. Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate training sessions and meetings effectively.
