Geographic Information System (GIS) Developer The Role Our dynamic and collaborative team is looking for a Geographic Information System Developer to join us in our mission. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating GIS applications that meet our clients unique business needs. The GIS Developer enjoys learning new technologies and techniques, works independently as a strong team member, thrives on being challenged, and demonstrates outstanding interpersonal skills. The Job What youll get to do as a GIS Developer: Perform as a leader in a fluid and challenging environment. Work with a multi-disciplinary team and lead junior team members. Participate in developing elegant designs that meet the business needs of our clients. Proactively suggest ideas to improve proposed solutions. Actively participate in application design, database design, schema layout, and ETL processes. Troubleshoot and correct complex bugs or issues (including performance issues). Develop and execute unit and integration tests. Qualifications What youll need to be successful: Bachelors degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Business Analysis, Information Technology, or Engineering. 4+ years of relevant industry experience. Experience with the Esri ArcGIS Platform, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, ArcGIS Online, or ArcGIS Development libraries. Experience with SQL, ideally with PostgreSQL or SQL Server, including spatial data. Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Environments. Experience with ETL tools such as Safe Software FME. Working knowledge of source control solutions such as Git. Working knowledge of reporting solutions such as Power BI, ArcGIS Dashboard, or SQL Server Reporting Services. #J-18808-Ljbffr
