Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (ACAO) Employer: RM of Grey Location: Elm Creek, MB Application Deadline: TBD Job Description: The Rural Municipality of Grey is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (ACAO). This is a permanent full-time position (35 hours/week). Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the ACAO is part of the senior management team and would be directly responsible for the following: Financial matters of the Municipality Lead of the asset management team Oversee human resource functions Participation in various meetings All other duties assigned by the CAO Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with an accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA) or a business degree majoring in accounting. A minimum of five years related experience would be an asset. Municipal or related accounting/financial/auditing experience would be an asset. Have or be willing to obtain the Certificate in Municipal Administration designation. Thorough knowledge of financial planning. Strong working knowledge of computerized accounting systems. Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), email and internet. Excellent communications skills (written and oral). Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines. Ability to work in a small office environment. Ability to work well with the public.
