Primary Scope of Role :Manage and oversee multiple heavy civil construction projects from start to finishDevelop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.Secure necessary permits and approvals.Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.Understand estimate costs, help and manage project budgets, monitor and ensure projects are completed within budget.Ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.Lead project teams and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.Mentor project coordinators and junior level staff to facilitate their development.Assign roles and responsibilities for junior level staff.Coordinate and liaise with external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, venders, and government agencies.Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management to support the overall objectives of the company.Position Requirements :10+ years of experience in project management in the road building and construction industryExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously.Strong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of health and safety regulations and best practicesResults-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.Superb communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.About UsAs we look to the future, we need creative, ambitious, and innovative professionals like you who can help us to build the world of tomorrow, today.GIP team members are at the heart of our success in designing and delivering infrastructure projects safely, thoughtfully, and with the highest quality.
