The Project Manager will perform various tasks such as making sure projects are completed as per budget and design, following up on timelines, and assisting with various tasks.Primary Scope of Role :Project ManagementManages and prepare project schedules.Secure Necessary permits and approvals.Manage projects to ensure they are constructed according to design, budget, and schedule.Monitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance, safety, and quality controlAssess risks and develop mitigation strategies.Interfaces with the project team, subcontractors, and related third partiesConduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.Supervises, provides guidance and assesses the performance of direct reports and other team membersOversees project closeout.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management to support the overall objectives of the company.Position Requirements5+ years of experience in project management in the road building and construction industryExperience in managing all aspects of road building, asphalt and construction projects.Experience managing ICI projects is an asset.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment and build strong working relationships.Familiar with project management and estimating software programs.Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.Effective time management and prioritization skills.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practicesOutcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.About UsAs we look to the future, we need creative, ambitious, and innovative professionals like you who can help us to build the world of tomorrow, today.GIP team members are at the heart of our success in designing and delivering infrastructure projects safely, thoughtfully, and with the highest quality.
