This position provides expert guidance to cross-functional internal teams as projects are developed, from inception to completion. This role will support our store development process and require close collaboration with our stores and home office teams to complete approved store development projects successfully.KEY DELIVERABLESSuccessful project initiation, execution, and timely closeout, including deficiency tracking and resolutionOn time delivery of all assigned projects, within approved scope and budgetAll projects delivered with the high quality that Indigo requires. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESFunctionalDelivers new store construction, renovations and other capital projectsWorks collectively with store development, design, facilities, and retail teams to develop project scope.Builds high-level estimates/budgets and construction schedules/timelinesActively prepares general contractor tender bid packages for RFQ/RFP process, complete with bid response analysis and report recommendationsCompletes bid analysis and provides a recommendation to awardEnsures that all consents from landlords are obtained in a timely fashionManages all on-site and in-store construction activities with the agreed design documentsEnsures that all construction activity in open stores has a minimum adverse effect on the retail operationOversees, supports, and maintains project schedules for multiple projects at the same timePlans, schedules, and organizes construction projects from start to finish by specifications, schedule, and budgetMaintains constant dialogue with supervisors and stakeholders regarding the status and progress of projectsMonitors and controls project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within budgetContinuously looks to value engineer & recognize cost savings in processes & practicesPrepares and provides weekly project status reports to senior management, highlighting budget and schedule forecasting and risks, issues and mitigation strategies.
