P&C Assistant Actuary opening in Toronto. Perform reserving for Commercial Liability, Property, and Specialty lines as well as Personal lines; assist with financial reporting; provide insights into business trends and performance; support Financial Condition Testing (FCT) and Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) processes; maintain financial forecast models; develop/maintain actuarial models to enhance reserving process. Ideal candidate is pre-ACAS, ACAS, FCAS or FCIA with 2-10 years of P&C actuarial experience; background in reserving or financial reporting (eg, IFRS 17) advantageous; exposure to Arius software a plus.
