About the Role: We are looking for a Cloud Architect to lead our customers' cloud strategy, architecture, and operations. This role is a blend of high-level leadership and hands-on technical expertise, helping organizations optimize, secure, and scale their hybrid and cloud infrastructures - primarily in AWS (Azure and GCP experience is a plus). Key Responsibilities: Strategic Direction & Customer Engagement Define and drive cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with customer business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, IT leaders, and engineering teams on cloud best practices. Lead cloud assessments, cost optimization initiatives, and security compliance reviews. Bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring ROI from cloud investments. Stay ahead of cloud trends, AWS partnership advancements, and emerging technologies. Technical Execution & Architecture Design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures. Oversee cloud migrations, hybrid cloud integrations, and automation initiatives. Develop and enforce best practices for security, governance, and compliance in cloud environments. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools. Lead efforts in monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of cloud-based workloads. Team Guidance & Cross-Functional Collaboration Guide and mentor cloud engineers, other architects, and DevOps teams. Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to scope and execute cloud projects successfully. Establish internal frameworks, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for cloud operations. Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence. Required Skills & Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, CloudOps, or DevOps. Strong expertise in AWS (Azure and GCP a plus), including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and containerized environments. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). Hands-on experience in automation, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines. Deep knowledge of networking, security, and hybrid cloud architectures. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex cloud environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent is a plus. Nice to Have: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration. Familiarity with Atlassian tools and integrations with cloud platforms.
