Job Title: Project Manager (for eCommerce Storefront Website)Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid Remote 3 days onsite)Term: Contract (until the end of 2025)Salary: $40.10 CAD/hour to $43.42 CAD/hourIndustry: e-Commerce and RetailRole Overview:The Advertising Team is reinventing Advertising and Stores at company! Were creating innovative ad-tech solutions to optimize the ad monetization and experience on company, as well as the Stores experience for our bigger Sellers. Our goal is to create a valuable experience for both buyers and sellers, while also driving performance for advertisers. To that end, we are innovating rapidly in the ad-tech space and there is no shortage of new challenges for motivated individuals.We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Advertising organization, one of the fastest growing teams at company. Your focus will be on the Stores and Social department (not truly linked to Ads) to deliver complex e-commerce projects from inception to implementation. Youll get to partner with stakeholders horizontally and vertically within the organization - across product managers, engineers & technical leads, product marketing managers, sales and operations. You will be reporting directly into a Sr. Program Manager that will be taking care of the programs strategy and vision.Ideal Candidate:1) Project Manager, NOT an Engineering PM No need for deep technical expertise but must:Understand basic IT concepts to communicate effectively with engineers.Have practical experience with Jira (tracking and managing projects, not coding).2) Someone who can support our growth in store infrastructures (scaling up our e-commerce store offering).3) 'Crafty & Nimble' can think on their feet and adapt quickly to changing needs.4) Core Skills:Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.Proactive mindset should take initiative, need minimal guidance, and work independently.Ability to ensure teams are constantly delivering different pieces of the roadmap.Highly adaptable can adjust to changing priorities and business needs.Works well in a small but growing team comfortable with shifting responsibilities.Project Scope:1) Ecommerce Stores Expansion:We want to enhance our eCommerce storefront offeringsimilar to Shopify, etc.This allows our sellers to create dedicated, easily discoverable online stores on our website.2) Social Integration:Enabling our sellers to link their products to social media platforms for better reach and engagement.Responsibilities: Run end to end lifecycle of complex projects that contribute to the Stores and Social roadmap, from concept and initiation to release and go to marketLead key operating rhythms within our organization and between partner teams; ensure that everyone is working together helping solving cross org issues / communication / partner concernsAnticipate, assess and manage issues and risks; perform as needed root cause analysis and recommend mitigation plansEnsure clear status reporting is happening at all levels, whether at the sponsor level or day to day team membersDevelop presentations and supporting documentation for various forums and partnersBuild, document, and improve processes across geographically distributed teams/partners in order to optimize efficiency in a fast-pace environmentRequirements:5+ years of project management experience with partners within Program/Product/Engineering/Sales/Ops organizationsExperience working in an end to end, cross functional environment with engineering, design, product, sales, ops, and project management counterparts to deliver products/servicesDemonstrated track record of leading large-scale projects in a product environment from conception through completionCapable of ensuring action items are clear and followed through, regardless of stakeholder seniority.Ability to take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances, under little or no supervisionClear and concise communication, documentation and presentations to your program manager and leads, and timely escalations of potential risks.Ability to work with teams composed of both technical and non-technical members.Prioritize competing priorities without loss of efficiency or visibilityManage multiple partners at various levels in the organization and working with them all equally, proactively and transparentlyWillingness to be hands-on and do whatever is vitalBachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalentKnowledge of Agile development practices; prior experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma analytical techniquesProficient with tools such as Jira, Google suite, Outlook, etc.Preferred Requirements: Experience in e-commerce or Storefront websites or platforms, such as Shopify.Experience doing incubation projects or experimentationTechnical know-how (agile methodologies, scrum formation, technical tools)Proficient in Airtable.
