The organizations goal is to keep pushing until all people with cystic fibrosis can experience a full, healthy life, without limits.THE ROLE AND IMPACT:The Development Officer (Midlevel Giving) is an experienced relationship manager, responsible for oversight of the growth and impact of Cystic Fibrosis Canadas Mid-Level Donor Program through engagement, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individuals and family foundations donating between $1,000 and $9,999 per year (subject to change).The Development Officer (Midlevel Giving) will manage a full portfolio of mid-level donors including individuals and family foundations, from engagement and cultivation to solicitation and stewardshipThe Development Officer (Mid-Level Giving) will work with other members of the Development team to execute a comprehensive donor journey to enhance the donor experience and communicate the donors impact in CF Canadas mission and vision.Reporting to the Director, Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships, the Development Officer will engage midlevel donors across a variety of channels, tailoring communications for midlevel donors, with the objective of increasing revenue, retention, and the lifetime support from the portfolio.RESPONSIBILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH: Work with the Philanthropy team and the Annual Giving team to create, track, and improve strategies, processes, and reporting for engagement of mid-level donors in Canada gifting between $1,000 and $9,999 annuallyOversee a full portfolio of mid-level donors including individuals and family foundations, from engagement and cultivation to solicitation and stewardshipStrategically prospect new mid-level donorsExecute the donor journey strategy for mid-level donorsContribute to performance tracking and reporting discussion to create, track, and improve processes to increase retention and revenue from mid-level donorsResponsible for relationship management of the mid level giving portfolio under the leadership of the Director, including cultivation, responding to donor inquiries, attending meetings and events.Develop recommendations to enhance the engagement strategies of a portfolio of mid-level individual donors, utilizing a moves management strategy to upgrade them to higher giving and engagement levelsCoordinate communications strategy and content creation with Annual Giving and Marketing and Communications for aligned yet personalized direct mail, telemarketing, digital campaigns with a focus on acquiring, renewing, and upgrading mid-level donorsStrategically prospect new mid-level donors to expend portfolio and increase revenue. Regularly engage donors in the portfolio through email and phone callsPlan and execute donor appreciation events, both online and in person.Improve and create a donor journey strategy for mid-level donorsRegularly engage donors in the portfolio through email and phone callTrack donor journey using CRM Raisers Edge NXT, always keeping donor records up to dateMonitor and evaluate performance of midlevel strategies and contribute to reporting and planning discussion with the Development TeamTrack donor journey using CRM (Raisers Edge NXT) and maintain accurate donor information including address requests, inquiries, and complaints.WHAT YOU BRING:Required Qualifications :Post secondary degree (or equivalent) with 3-5 years of relationship building experience in a fundraising environmentStrong communication skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholdersStrategic thinker, attention to detail and strong program management skillsDemonstrates CF Canada values of Connected, Bold, Inclusive, and ImpactfulDemonstrates knowledge of fundraising best practices and CRA regulationsDevelops and maintains networks with internal and external stakeholders,Ability to resolve complex and critical situations, including but not limited to handling donor concerns and complaints.Proven track record for meeting and exceeding revenue targets and other KPIs.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Responsible, proactive, driven, and able to work independently.Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office programs, CRM (e.g. Raisers Edge), project management tools (e.g. Asana)Fluency in English (written and oral)Desired:French language (written and oral)Knowledge of fundraising direct mail and email campaignsExperience working with budgets and forecastingWorking towards or holds a CFRE designation considered an assetWHAT WE OFFER:Collaborative, dynamic, and passionate work environment, with colleagues who are driven and motivated for this community.RRSP and Benefits programsA company culture rooted in empathy, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.Flexible working scheduleRemote and hybrid work model offeredPlease submit your resume and cover letter directly through LinkedIn Cystic Fibrosis Canada thanks all applicants in advance.
