Job Description

Zirnhelt Timber Frames Ltd. (ZTF) is a general contractor for residential and commercial construction focused on sustainable building, timber frame structures and pre-manufactured wall systems. We are looking to hire a full-time, Office Manager . As a member of ZTF, you will play a key role in overseeing the administrative operations of the business. We look for those with a keenness to learn, solid work ethic, an eye for detail, and desire to sustainably build our communities. Note, this position is in-person full-time (40 hours per week) at our 150 Mile House office, which is open 8:00am 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Performs bookkeeping functions including payroll, bank deposits, posting revenues, overseeing accounts receivable, and processing accounts payable including project/account coding Oversees timesheet management and project management systems Oversees the selection and maintenance of office equipment, supplies and operational expenses Coordinates permits, insurance, site binders (safety, warranty, commercial and other docs) and other admin for projects Supports marketing and promotional initiatives, including website and social media maintenance Develops and implements office policies and procedures Ensures the effective and efficient functioning of the office including answering phones, greeting visitors, coordinating mail/couriers, and assisting site/shop crew Certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Bookkeeping, or other related field Supervisory experience is an asset Strong accounting, financial, and bookkeeping skills; Excellent customer service, interpersonal and relationship building skills with proven diplomacy. Excellent verbal and written English skills Strong organizational skills (including efficient office organization) with high attention to detail High Information Technology literacy and exceptional proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Project Management (eg BuilderTrend, Procore) and other applications.
