Were currently in search of a Director of Food and Beverage who shares these values and will champion them at 1 Hotel Toronto . As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our F&B department. Reporting to the General Manager and collaborating as a member the Executive Team, you''ll oversee daily operations, manage leaders, maintain quality standards, and strive to exceed guest expectations, all while fostering a positive work environment and driving revenue growth in all venues. Extensive experience in food and beverage management within the hospitality industry is essential, preferably multi-venue in luxury or lifestyle hotels. An expert in food & beverage operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. A proven record of success in managing F&B operations, achieving financial targets, implementing cost-control measures to ensure department profitability. Strong leadership abilities for effectively managing and motivating a diverse team of F&B professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences. A deep understanding of culinary trends, menu engineering principles, and food and beverage pairing is important for creating innovative and appealing menus that align with the hotel''s brand and target market Thorough knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations is critical for ensuring compliance with local health codes and liquor laws. The ability to think critically, adapt to changing circumstances, and resolve operational challenges effectively is essential for successfully managing a dynamic and fast-paced F&B environment. Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
