Job Overview - As the Brand Manager you will be responsible for developing brand strategies, promoting brand growth and expansion, implementing your brand plans, and driving volume and profitability. You will get to define innovation plans, marketing communications, and owned channel experiences for a portfolio of growing brands. We are seeking a dynamic, results oriented Brand Manager to help support category growth reporting directly into the Marketing Director. This is an exciting opportunity to: Work in a category that is consistently growing Target consumers that LOVE their pets Drive growth for all of North America Impact both retailer and eCommerce brand experiences Lead a growing budget and roster of agency partners Role and Responsibilities: Creating and driving the innovation pipeline for a portfolio of on-trend brands uncovering white space opportunities and supporting portfolio growth Leading marketing and advertising campaigns, that leverage smart consumer insights, and creating a compelling brand narrative Measuring and reporting on success of marketing campaigns Identifying how our brands are currently positioned in the market & where to take it next Developing Brand Marketing plans thru to execution Driving profitability by analyzing the Brands Profit & Loss (P&L) Anticipating consumer trends and keeping the Brand up to date Developing plans for U.S. regional grocery excellence Recipe for Success: Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field 3-5 years of experience in CPG brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management within North American market is strongly preferred Proven ability to work cross-functionally Experience managing a brand across multiple markets Experience managing agencies and developing digital campaigns Creative thinker and problem solver that is self-motivated Strong communication and presentation skills Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends A Few Extra Ingredients: Possesses a sense of urgency; self-motivated and detail-minded Exceptional time management and organizational skills Creative Mindset- Insightful thinking as well as an aptitude for creative, out of the box thinking to develop compelling messaging and product campaigns Trend Savviness- proficient in conducting category growth and analyzing consumer trends to inform brand strategy Proficient in using data to measure and evaluated brand performance and making data-driven decisions Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple teams at once to meet deadlines Loves pets!
