As a key leader within the Brand and Retail Communications team, you will play a vital role in driving the Retail Marketing Calendar and overseeing Brand/Equity Communications across key initiatives. Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to) Lead Brand & Retail Communications by bringing our retail calendar to life through ambitious, innovative strategies that connect emotionally with Canadians and elevate the KFC brand to new heights. Lead in the development and delivery of IMC briefs Execute briefs in a way that inspires the IMC teams Develop 360 campaigns including TV, OOH, Digital, Social, POP and Owned channels Lead post campaign learnings and leverage data to inform future optimizations and briefs Lead offsite productions including Video, Photography, Brand Stunts, PR Events etc. Launch 360 Window campaigns internally to drive excitement and lead culture amongst the system and KFC coworkers Collaborate with Insights, Innovation, and Performance teams to craft impactful strategies that not only elevate the brand but also drive meaningful transactions, shaping the future of KFC with data-driven solutions. Delivering Consideration and Transaction lead Sales Growth through brave and disruptive creative ideas Lead franchisee communications to inspire and foster trust, exciting them with bold messages that continue to improve our brands impact. Present IMC plans and performance in quarterly franchisee meetings Challenge the status quo of conventional communications to redefine industry standards, driving market share growth and positioning us as the undisputed Fried Chicken Leader in category-defining communication. Act as an agency partner key lead coordinating across the full IMC Assist in the development of new IMC agency reviews to further deepen partner understanding of the business and drive connection across teams to build one-team mindset Must be willing to work flexible hours 10% of the time to lead Production Shoots, Edits, PR Events, etc. Key Qualifications: Education/Certifications: Undergraduate degree with preference in Marketing/Advertising/ Commerce 5+ years of Marketing experience preferably in CPG, QSR, or Retail Marketing Able to work under pressure and to coordinate work with multiple deadlines. Brilliant creative skills and ability to work in strong partnership with agencies. Proven track record in the coordination of brand building strategies and creative execution Demonstrated ability to lead and thrive in ambiguous and evolving situations, navigating through uncertainty with confidence. Proven track record of delivering exceptional results and maintaining high standards, even in challenging and high-pressure environments. Strong passion for staying at the forefront of the industry, with a drive to define and elevate a brand that sets the benchmark within its category. Ambition, resourcefulness and tenacity, and belief in galvanizing a turnaround for the brand in Canada.
