Senior Python Developers: On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Python Developers for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our clients Waterloo, ON office. Senior Python Developers - Job Description: The project involves designing and implementing scalable and maintainable applications to enhance the client''s competitive edge in risk analysis. The role includes both new development and the improvement of existing systems using leading-edge technologies. Senior Python Developers - Responsibilities: Design, rapidly prototype, and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications, services, and data solutions Maintain and improve existing system and data foundation using proven architecture patterns, frameworks, and libraries Conduct prototyping and POC development for urgent research and business needs Collaborate in a team environment, providing architectural and design suggestions and being receptive to alternative design approaches Senior Python Developers - Mandatory Skills: 5+ years of Application Development experience Experience working with containers (e.g., Docker) Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD platforms Experience working in AWS platform, specifically AWS Lambda, EKS, CDK, Serverless (SAM), IAM, and VPC Experience with Flask/FastAPI or similar web frameworks Senior Python Developers Nice-to-Have Skills: Data Engineering experience Backend development experience in applications with dedicated front-end developers Experience with AWS Glue Experience with Apache Iceberg Senior Python Developers Assignment Length: This is a 6 month contract role.
