Job Description

This role will apply established technical know-how and KFC functional understanding to develop innovation regarding POS, data management, payment, and digital solutions. You will be responsible for in-restaurant POS and Payment solutions and Digital Integrations. Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to) Serve as the primary contact for all POS and aggregator integration issues. Serve as the POS subject matter expert for software integrations with the POS system. Manage Aloha Online Ordering Implementation. Conduct menu programming and establish inventory items. Support all required configurations and implement updates to maintain data integrity. Utilize Aloha CFC and Menu Configurator to apply necessary changes and updates to the restaurant databases. Provide Level 3 technical support to the KFC Tech Support team, troubleshooting POS issues and ensuring their resolution promptly with minimal disruption to operations. Work closely with Delivery partners UberEATs, DoorDash, Skip and Google to drive consistency in promotions, programming delivery Collaborate with the Restaurant Excellence and Operations teams to optimize, drive innovation, and enhance the POS and order processing workflow. Collaborate with the NCR Back Office administrator for menu maintenance and issue resolution. Manage several projects simultaneously, which includes assigning resources, coordinating efforts, and monitoring tasks of individual contributors. Must adhere to shifting deadlines. Research and Drive Proof of Concepts for consumer-facing technologies. Develop and streamline processes that will increase efficiency across all data and supported devices Ad hoc special projects to drive KFC digital strategies. Periodic collaboration with other Yum! brands, including Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Occasional out of business hours work as required Key Qualifications: Post-Secondary education in Computer Science 5+ years of equivalent work experience. Deep knowledge of software testing lifecycle and understanding of test design and testing methodologies. Background in the restaurant, QSR, Food & Beverage industry is an asset. Knowledge of Aloha POS, including Configuration Center, Command Center, EDC, Aloha Take Out, Aloha Cloud Connect. Experience with POS systems (NCR Aloha, Micros Simphony) Experience with NCR NBO or similar back-office software (Clearview). Strong IT knowledge: POS Hardware and Software support, Digital Menu Boards, Kiosk technology, API consumption. Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Detail-oriented, and foresight in understanding database configuration changes and the impact at the restaurant level. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, show adaptability and quickly adjust to shifting priorities. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment; maintain strong relationships cross-functionally and with vendors An ability to quickly adapt to new technology to ensure immediate support and serviceability.
