Job Description: We are currently seeking a Robotics Assembly Technician to join our growing team in Vancouver. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and other technicians to assemble, integrate, test, and maintain our bipedal robotic systems.You will be assembling complex electromechanical systems, running diagnostics, supporting continuous improvements, and ensuring that every robot meets the highest standards of performance, safety, and quality.Responsibilities: The candidates main responsibilities are:-Assemble, test, and troubleshoot robotic components and subassemblies, including actuators, sensors, harnesses, and structural elements.-Follow detailed assembly drawings, technical documents, and engineering procedures.-Perform mechanical, electrical, and software integration of robotic systems.-Maintain documentation for builds, modifications, and repairs with high attention to detail.-Work closely with the engineering team to identify and resolve design or assembly issues.-Support quality assurance processes including inspection, verification, and validation activities.-Assist in the setup and execution of system-level tests and calibrations.-Maintain lab and assembly environments including tools, fixtures, and testing equipment.-Support field deployments and demonstrations, including assembly and troubleshooting on site.-Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in both product design and assembly workflow.-Contribute to safety and compliance in all operations.Required skills/Qualifications: -Hands-on experience with electrical and electronic systems (wiring, harnessing, PCB assembly, etc.)-Practical experience with mechanical assemblies (gears, joints, structural elements, fastening, etc.)-Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.-Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering tools, torque drivers, and measurement tools.-High attention to detail and a methodical, safety-first mindset.-Comfortable working in dynamic, high-paced R&D and production environments.-Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred and Plus skills:-Experience in the robotics, aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries.-Familiarity with robotic actuators, motion control systems, or embedded electronics.-Experience with soldering (SMT/THT), crimping, or IPC certification.-Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC machining, or mechanical prototyping.-Exposure to ERP systems and digital work instructions (PLM, MRP).-Field support experience in deployments or live demonstrations.Who You Are: -Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow.-A get-things-done attitude with the ability to manage shifting priorities.-Thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams.-Excited about working on complex, impactful technologies that move the world forward.Why Join Us? -Be part of a mission-driven team building the future of mobility.-Work on real, production-ready humanoid robotics.-Collaborative culture that encourages innovation and creativity.-Opportunities for growth, leadership, and specialization.-Competitive salary and benefits package including paid time off, employee stock options and extended healthcare.-A chance to leave your mark on one of the most exciting fields in technology.How to Apply: The description of the role above is what we believe an exemplary candidate could look like, if you have related experience but dont necessarily meet all the requirements, please apply!
