JOB OVERVIEW : Guardian Capital Group is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Business Applications team. The Business Applications team provides solutions, support, and training to employees across Guardians group of companies, enabling users to deliver the best service possible for our clients. This individual will be supporting the Charles River Investment Management System platform, used by our institutional and private wealth trading teams. This individual will work with Portfolio Managers, the technology team, and other business stakeholders to configure, provide support, and training on CRD. This individual should be familiar with the Charles River IMS or a buy side order management system like Bloomberg Aim or Blackrock Aladdin. This individual will need to respond to and address any CRD support issues within the agreed SLAs. The individual may also be involved in other ongoing CRD IMS change activities and be assigned smaller work items related to the CRD IMS. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Portfolio Manager Engagement: work closely with Portfolio Managers to provide best practices and answer questions related to CRD Integration and Optimization : act as a consultative resource and subject matter expert in bringing new lines of business onto CRD and recommending existing process optimizations Operational Excellence : work with the Business Applications team to develop a documentation library on how GCG uses CRD, oversee user support processes, and collaborate on improving overall system support workflows QUALIFICATIONS : University degree 2 years of OMS support/administrative experience 3 years experience working in Financial Services Experience with SQL query language Familiarity with Jira or other software ticketing platforms Ability to be in-office in Toronto 2-4 days per week Financial markets knowledge, Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives Accounting system expertise nice to have Business Analysis, gathering and documenting requirements User Test case writing and UAT experience Wealth management background ideal Any programming language knowledge would be a plus but not required COMPENSATION : Commensurate with experience
