QA Automation Manager JOB DESCRIPTION The Nationwide Group (TNG) is a pioneer in designing and developing outsourced financial services software, exclusively focused on creating comprehensive and customizable solutions for the real estate industry. POSITION DETAILS: This QA Automation Manager will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering. This role will be responsible for leading a team of Test Engineers/Analysts focused on delivering highest quality product within deadline. You will also advise Senior Management/Product Development staff on the quality and risk of features being released, and you will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Program Management, Development, Service Delivery/Operations, and Customer Service to coordinate and implement cross-project Test Engineering and Development initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead in the development of the architecture and system designs for TNG domestic and international applications using object oriented methodologies. Responsible for developing project plans specifying goals, strategy, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources. Develops and defines technical scope and objectives for the team. As team Scrum Master - directs and coordinates development activities by assigning and monitoring tasks to team via daily scums, and scrum board. Both local and remote team members. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Project Manager, Business Analysts, QA Analysts, and other Developers to ensure the successful deployment of products and system enhancements. Responsible for overseeing the teams Design, Code, Test Plan, Test Cases, and Deployment Plans. Responsible for overseeing the deployment of code releases for Domestic/International web portals and systems. Oversee and manage the creation of technical documentation such as design documents, deployment guidelines, process flow, and data flow. Monitor and maintain application logs, file servers and archive files for TNG applications. Provide Production support as a subject matter expert who can productively work with business teams in preparing business requirements into application code and/or make modifications to existing processes. Advice on matters related to enterprise IT Strategy and its development, addressing both business and IT needs. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all organizational policies including but not limited to, data, security and health & safety polices. Ensure all team members act in accordance to all company policies. Provide research and advise on new technologies to enhance the application; ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the web applications. Work closely with both internal and external clients. Other duties/ad-hoc projects as assigned. Directly supervise employees in the IT Development Department and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization''s policies and applicable laws. A.) or equivalent; or ten years related experience and/or training within Software Engineering, Software Development, and Technical Design or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education and/or 5+ years experience in Software Automation development 5+ years knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, automation, and processes. 3+ years experience in Agile Scrum or Kanban and test-driven development Strong experience developing automated tests suites using Selenium, Ranorex, Webdriver, nUnit, SQL, C#, other scripts Strong working knowledge of different databases (ex. MySQL, Postgress) Proven ability to write automated test scripts to verify data structures, data formats and data values and able to Write/modify SQL queries to perform database validations Experience using Microsoft supporting technologies such as Visual Studio and CodeUI. Understanding of cross-browser development using core web development tools and technologies (such as HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON).
