In this role, you will work on executing tests on GPU Emulation model to validate new features. You would analyze the output of tests and debug the failing tests to figure out the cause of failure and then report it to hardware design team. You would need to understand the tests being run and the function being targeted to effectively triage/root-cause the issue. Key Responsibilities: Execution and debug of tests on GPU Emulation models to validate new features Collaborate with design, verification, and architecture teams to identify and resolve potential issues. Perform emulation tasks, including performance tuning and debugging. Analyze results and provide feedback to engineering teams on design modifications. Debugging failures using waveform viewers, log files and microcode trace dumps Stay up to date with the latest trends in emulation tools, techniques, and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Masters degree preferred. Strong experience in emulation and simulation, with familiarity in industry-standard tools like Veloce, Palladium, ZEBU, HAPs, Protium Emulation debug (state experience required) Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Ruby, Shell and TCL test content. Solid understanding of hardware architectures and design principles. Experience with FPGA-based emulation platforms is a plus. Knowledge of current industry GFX Architectures Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Good to have familiarity with Gaming Silicon product lines, including CPUs, GPUs, and APUs. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
