Reporting to the Director, IT the Cyber Security Analyst will work with Infrastructure, Application, Development, and Partners to set, create and modify standards, guidelines and procedures for security related practices throughtout the lifecycle. You will be responsible for the technical aspect of our cyber security systems and oversee our vulnerability and patch management. Implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, patch practices and recommend security changes to systems. Plan, recommend and lead modifications or adjustments for Security standards and policies based on best practices, including IT and End User standards and policies. Document systems security implementations, operations and maintenance activities and update as necessary. Provides cyber security recommendations to leadership and teams based on significant threats and vulnerabilities. Lead, plan and deploy Security Awareness Training programs and security email campaigns to bring more awareness to our enterprise. 3 years of experience in cyber security (network, systems). ~ Post-secondary school education with Information Technology and/or cyber security related certifications, diploma and/or degree. ~ Cyber Security mindset, while balancing user experience/performance with security practice.
