Position Overview: As the Content Specialist at Scribenote, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and editing video and photo content to highlight our brand, product features, new releases, announcements, and quarterly webinars. Youll take a hands-on role in capturing the essence of our company through both short-form and long-form videos and photos, sharing them across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more. Your work will help tell the story of Scribenote, increase brand awareness, and drive engagement with both existing and potential customers. As a small & scrappy team, your work will have major impact on our marketing. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Production: Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and produce content for a variety of formats (e.g., product demos, feature announcements, customer testimonials, company updates, and webinars). This includes both short-form content (social media clips), long-form content (quarterly webinars, product release videos, etc.) and photography, graphics, and other visual media. Storytelling & Messaging: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to translate key messages and company updates into compelling content that aligns with brand tone and objectives. Capture the voice of the company and make complex topics easily digestible and engaging. Platform Optimization: Tailor video content to suit the unique requirements of different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) as well as to optimize for views and engagement with our target audience(s). Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit and refine raw footage, adding graphics, effects, music, and voiceovers to produce polished final videos. Ensure that videos are clear, concise, and professionally executed. Live Streaming & Webinars: Assist in setting up, managing, and promoting quarterly webinars or live events. Capture key moments, audience interaction, and product demos through live video production, ensuring a seamless experience for viewers. Metrics & Performance Analysis: Track the performance of video content across platforms, analyze engagement metrics, and optimize future content based on data and feedback. Provide regular reports on video performance and suggest improvements. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure video content aligns with broader company goals and messaging. Be proactive in brainstorming new video concepts and content strategies. Qualifications: Experience 3+ years of experience in content creation, with a focus on short-form and long-form video for digital platforms. SaaS or tech industry experience is a plus. Proven portfolio of past work (please include links to previous projects when applying). Skills & Expertise: Expertise in video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve). Experience across a full range of creative tools (Canva, Figma, the Adobe Suite) Strong understanding of video formats, editing techniques, and optimization for different platforms (e.g., Instagram Stories, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). Knowledge of trends and best practices for social media marketing and digital engagement. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Great aesthetic taste and an eye for what looks good, while being able to describe visual/creative ideas to other team members clearly. Preferred: Experience working with marketing teams to align video content with broader marketing campaigns and objectives. Familiarity with motion graphics and animation tools.
