Data Architect (Databricks) Investment Industry York Region, On Salary $120,000 Options Consulting Solutions Executive Recruitment is currently conducting an exclusive search on behalf of their client for a Data Architect. Our client is a private investment firm with over 40 years in the manufacturing and real estate space. From their corporate headquarters in Markham, Ontario, our client provides its services throughout Canada. As Data Architect, you will lead the design, governance, and strategy of the companys data systems, encompassing the data warehouse, data lake, and integrations between systems. This role ensures the scalability, security, and performance of the data ecosystem, aligning it with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strategic vision, leveraging tools like Databricks and Azure to build a robust and future-proof architecture. Other Responsibilities: Architecture Design & Strategy Strategic Oversight Data Integration Leadership Performance & Cost Optimization Mentorship & Team Collaboration Security, Compliance & Governance Position Qualifications Post-secondary education (university degree) Advanced experience with Databricks features, such as Unity Catalog, MLflow, and Delta files. Familiarity with Apache Spark internals and advanced libraries. Knowledge of BI tools and platforms (e.g., Sage, Solver, Trux, DayForce, Dossier).
