The Marketing Manager is responsible for promoting the Worx and Kress brands and/or products in the Canadian market, ensuring alignment with the global brand positioning while developing messaging that is relevant to Canadian consumers, both new and existing. He/she will create and foster lasting relationships with Positecs target consumers to boost revenues. He/she will be accountable for developing tactics and strategies that support our sales initiatives, including developing advertising campaigns, maximizing profits, and maintaining strong public relations and brand image. Key Responsibilities: Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our customers doors as well as our own D2C sites. Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution. Oversee creative, digital, analytical, and financial aspects of marketing projects. Develop effective advertising campaigns that help sell our products, and work with outside marketing agencies for creative input and media relations. Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis. Produce valuable and engaging content for our website that attracts and converts our target groups. Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors. Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely. Work directly with sales and product teams to help the team achieve the goals and objectives set forth in the business plan. Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies. Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals. Requirements: Bachelor''s and Master''s Degree in marketing or related field Demonstrated knowledge of market research and consumer behavior Strong research skills and ability to work well in cross-functional environments Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers Up to date with latest trends and marketing best practices 8+ years of relevant marketing experience in retail and/or manufacturing industry 3+ years experience operating at a Senior Marketing Manager capacity Integrated marketing experience with a concentrated focus on in-store, digital (paid & organic) and traditional marketing Strong understanding and experience partnering with retail media partners and leveraging 1P owned data Experience planning and managing complex projects while bringing the execution to life on the ground Detail orientated and extremely organized Able to work cross-functionally on multiple projects in an evolving, fast-paced environment thats subject to constant change Entrepreneurial spirit whos able to problem solve Experience using Adobe Creative Suite software for editing Content background considered an asset Experience organizing events including tradeshows Comfortable planning and managing annual marketing
