(www.siriuspersonnel.com)Profile: Our client is a food broker and is looking for a selling sales manager who will be responsible for both selling and growing the existing salesforce. We sell to food distributors who sell to foodservices accounts and we are looking for someone with experience selling in this industry, managing a team and setting up key KPIs and sales milestones to hit. Our food is what you would consider 'center of the plate' and we have several hundred SKUs.Territory: Province of Quebec and some independent reps in OntarioWorkplace: Laval (Hybrid)Products/Services: Food (center of the plate)Salary: Base $85,000-$95,000 (depending on experience)Commissions/Bonus: 20% of baseCar allowance: $/kmExpenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursedOther Benefits:MedicalDentalCell reimbursedFunctions:Manage the relationship with major accountsHire salespeopleAssess the specific needs of customers in order to offer them products that meet their needsManage the price list assigned to customer accountsOpen new customer accounts by prospecting with potential customersProvide supervision of the sales team staff and work to optimize the latter.Build our sales structure including a database in conjunction with company PresidentManage the independent rep structureManage the relationship with suppliersRequirements:Development vs Maintenance: 70% managing and 30% selling (1st year then 50/50)Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%Languages: French and English (bilingual)Education: College degree or equivalent experienceTraining: On the job trainingOvernight Travel: Less than 15% overnight travelYears of experience: At least 5 years in the food industryOther requirements:Excellent computer skills especially using and interpreting data from a CRM.Transferable contacts: N/ATransferable Knowledge:Excellent communication skillsStrong business acumen to be able to handle demanding customersStrong problem-solving skills
