If you are passionate about logistics and enjoy solving customer challenges with innovative solutions, this is the perfect role for you.Position Summary:Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish relationships with C-level decision-makers, and build strong, lasting partnerships. Create tailored, value-driven solutions to address customer challenges, with an emphasis on fostering long-term relationships. Conduct regular business reviews (CBRs) to identify potential growth opportunities. Lead efforts in prospecting within key verticals, oversee the creation of proposals, and manage responses to RFPs and RFIs. Address customer needs by providing detailed, strategic solutions and a clear action plan.Roles & Responsibilities:Identify and prospect national and enterprise-level accounts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, operations managers, and supply chain leaders.Consult with clients to understand their delivery and logistics challenges, offering tailored courier solutions to address their needs.Lead negotiations and close complex deals, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective and high-value logistics solutions.Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement customized logistics plans and solutions for clients.Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and proposal development to final contract negotiations and implementation.Present proposals and contracts to clients, ensuring clear communication of pricing, service offerings, and expected outcomes.Achieve and exceed sales targets for national accounts while managing a robust pipeline of opportunities.Provide regular updates to leadership regarding sales progress, account health, and market trends.Stay up-to-date on industry developments, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to maintain a competitive edge.Deliver exceptional customer service post-sale, ensuring smooth implementation and long-term client satisfaction.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree or equivalent required.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:5+ years experience in business-to-business sales.Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the courier, logistics, or transportation industry.Ability to develop and execute sales strategies for large-scale clients.Proven track record of success and overachievement.Demonstration of successful use of a sales process.Strong track record of managing and growing national accounts.Experience in developing and responding to RFPs.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess performance metrics and market trends.Competitive, driven, tenacious, positive mindset, energetic, and collaborative in your professional approach.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
