Job Description

Our client, a professional association located downtown requires a Bilingual Member Services Assistant to join their team. The Bilingual Member Services Assistant is the main point of contact for Bilingual Membership and program Subscribers. The Assistant supports bilingual Members, Program subscribers and prospective members. Role responsibilities: Membership and Customer Service Maintain membership records set up new members, cancel unpaid members, update records as requested Manage Membership/Program agreements with Firms monthly data uploads, annual billings, liaise with the coordinator at each Firm Respond to member/non-member queries; assist with website log onissues Manage the duplicate records process Run Member Upload Tool to create new members and cancel terminations. Create and/or reset login credentials: Username and Password Process monthly membership and reminder notices Follow up with delinquent and aged AR accounts Program Online Maintain Program user/licensee records add new users, cancel expired/unpaid users Liaise with multi-user licensees regarding individual users Respond to user queries; assist with on-line access issues Process monthly Program and reminder notices Follow up with delinquent and aged AR accounts Non-Member Accounts Set up nonmember student accounts as requested by various universities; Provide access to all students with Program Online for the semester, sending the students a welcome e- mail with their username and Password. Registrations Process event registration forms received via mail, email, fax Cash Receipts Process credit card payments Process daily bank deposit apply all payments received to appropriate account Creating a daily bank deposit summary on a monthly basis. File all deposits and backup files for fiscal year end audits. Administration Responsible for data integrity including running integrity reports and making corrections as required Assist Treasurer and department heads with ad hoc queries and preparations for annual audit Maintain batch files Other duties as assigned Role requirements: Education o University or college degree or equivalent work experience o Exceptional customer focus with strong business and professional acumen Technology & Skills o Excellent bilingual professional communication skills (both written and verbal) o Excellent organization skills o Excellent analytical skills attention to detail o Proficient with MS Office modules - Outlook, Word and Excel o Training onbasic accounting o Proficient with iMIS software Experience o Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role TDS Personnel is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
