The Human Resources Business Partner is a trusted advisor to Brand Leaders and Restaurant Leaders and will lead People strategies that support business operations and growth. A core function is to enhance the employee experience across brands, ensure the effective implementation of People and HR initiatives and policies and work with Restaurant Leaders to build and foster a high performance culture that is fun and rewarding and aligns with our core values (Celebrate People, Be Passionate, Be Curious, Own It and Do the Right Thing). What you will do in this role: Provide strategic support to Brand teams on People initiatives related to talent attraction, onboarding, training & development, employee relations, performance management, talent management and leadership development Build strong relationships with Brand leaders, teams and Restaurant Leaders as the trusted source for all HR support Partner with brand leaders to develop and execute a people strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives talent, engagement and development Partner with the HR Centres of Excellence teams in the execution and management of People Programs and Policies Act as a trusted advisor to management and teammates to address employee relations concerns to promote a supportive and inclusive environment. Conducting investigations may be required Leverage People Analytics and metrics to provide data driven insights and recommendations that enhance workforce planning, employee engagement and overall business performance Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, internal and external health and safety requirements and WCB/WSIB Implement training programs to develop teammates and deliver great guest experiences Champion and lead key initiatives that enhance teammate engagement including employee recognition Be curious and bring leading practices and ideas to people initiatives, policies and programs What we are looking for from you: Minimum 5 years of front line HR experience, ideal experience in a HR Generalist capacity Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field Strong understanding of employment laws and industry standards Knowledge of WSIB/WCB/STD/LTD processes and procedures Proficient working with an HRIS Thrives in a fast paced environment and able to multi-task and lead projects Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and accountability Dynamic, team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a team Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Retail or hospitality experience as asset Whats in it for you?
