Job descriptionJob Type, SalesFull-timeJob DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Film Salesperson/Sales Executive will be the main point of contact for all clients of the Company worldwide. The candidate will work closely with the President and VP on sales strategies and negotiations. The candidate should have an understanding of the film business and international sales experience within the film industry, the candidate should know the companies clients (or have their own client list), as well as knowledge of industry license agreements and distribution contracts and be up to date with current technologies and platforms of distribution. Candidate should have a moderate or high-level understanding of entertainment license and distribution contracts. This role reports directly to the President and Vice President of Sales, while also supporting the film Production divisionKey ResponsibilitiesFilm sales to the global market, including pre-salesCreate quarterly sales projections as well as sales estimates per project per territoryWork with the Production division of the CompanyMaintaining the current client bases as well as seeking new clientsKeeping track of clients, projects of interest and all sales activityLiaising with internal departments and external parties such as financing or production partnersRegular travel to markets and festivalsOrganize sales meetings worldwideConstant research of the marketplace both commercially and industryExperience required: Must have film sales experienceClient relationsNegotiating experienceContract experienceProficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite considered an assetProficient with sales and marketing tools like Constant Contact or Mailchimp and Sales ForceThe ideal candidate possesses the following skills:Closing salesStrong communication, organization, and client relations skillsAbility to prioritize and manage a large and diverse workloadGood judgment and strong attention to detailFriendly, professional and assertive attitudeWillingness to learn and be flexiblePro-active, able to work independently and as part of a teamMust hold a valid passport and be willing and available for travelDrivers License and access to a vehicle appreciatedSales drivenSkill keywordsSalesNegotiationSales ProcessCustomer Relationship Management (CRM)New OpportunitiesCommunicationMicrosoft ExcelBusinessConsultative ApproachCommunication Training
