It is one of the largest providers of production chemicals and drilling fluid systems and is focused on being the leading provider of technically advanced chemical solutions throughout the life cycle of the oilfield.We are seeking a highly organized and computer-savvy individual to join our team as a Drilling Fluids Administrator. This entry-level, full-time position is located in Calgary, Alberta within Canadian Energy Services, the drilling fluids services division of CES Energy Solutions. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the Drilling Fluids Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, supporting operations, and maintaining seamless communication across departments.Please note: This is an in-office position; remote work is not available.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Use in-house mud reporting software to ensure the accuracy and completeness of field data to company standards and the timely completion of well files.Collaborate with operations, accounting and technical teams to establish and maintain connections between accounting and mud reporting databases.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies.Utilize reports using Excel, PowerBI, and other Microsoft Office tools.Support the operations, accounting and technical teams with any data management or reporting requirements.Ensure accuracy of all invoice transactions including pricing, signatures, and delivery.Support Operations Superintendents supply of products to ensure proper compliance with contracted services and expectations of customers.Communicate with Operations Superintendents, as necessary, daily and weekly, regarding inventory balancing.Provide after-hours support as needed to address urgent field-related issues and ensure uninterrupted service.Perform additional duties as required.Necessary qualifications:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerBI, and other Microsoft Office products.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage and verify large amounts of data.Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments, including Operations, Accounting and Technical Services.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Willingness to provide after-hours support for urgent field issues as needed.Experience with database management is a plus but not required.A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Be able to legally work in Canada.While this is a junior position and prior experience is not required, a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology or experience in Drilling Fluid Chemicals, Drilling Field Operations, or supply chain/logistics would be considered assets.This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for new graduates to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills within the drilling fluids industry.
