(OBLR) Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (with potential for overtime as needed) Salary: $25.00 per hour Position Type: Full-Time (Permanent) Job Description Ontario Bailiff & Lien Registration Corp. (OBLR) is seeking a reliable and professional AZ-licensed driver to join our team. In this role, you will primarily drive a bailiff to various locations across the GTA in a standard company vehicle. When required, you will also operate a Class AZ commercial truck to assist with transporting seized assets or heavy equipment, then return to standard vehicle duties. This is a weekday, daytime position (Monday to Friday, 9am5pm) offering steady hours and a competitive hourly wage, with opportunities for overtime when needed. We are looking for someone who demonstrates responsibility, flexibility, and a commitment to safety at all times. Key Responsibilities Chauffeur Duties: Safely transport a bailiff between client locations throughout the GTA in a standard company vehicle, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. AZ Vehicle Operation: Operate a Class AZ truck as needed to haul or transport seized vehicles, equipment, or other assets in accordance with legal and safety guidelines. * *Mechanically inclined considered an asset. Safety & Compliance: Obey all traffic laws and follow company safety protocols during all trips. Drive defensively and responsibly to ensure the safety of the bailiff, other passengers (if any), and the general public. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle checks before and after trips (fuel levels, tire pressure, lights, etc.) and keep both the standard vehicle and truck clean and well-maintained. Report any maintenance issues or damage to the company immediately. Professional Conduct: Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure during all interactions. You may occasionally be present at sensitive situations (e.g., asset seizures), so remaining calm, courteous, and discreet is essential. Flexibility: Adapt to changing schedules, routes, or duties as directed. After completing any truck driving tasks, smoothly transition back to standard vehicle operation to continue the bailiffs itinerary. Qualifications Valid AZ drivers license: Must hold a current Class AZ license in Ontario (required to operate both commercial trucks and standard vehicles). Clean drivers abstract: A recent drivers abstract with a clean driving record (no serious traffic violations or at-fault accidents). Clear criminal record: Ability to pass a criminal record check. (A clean background is required due to the sensitive nature of our work.) Professionalism and composure: Strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to remain calm and courteous in all situations. Must represent the company with integrity and tact. Safe driving skills: Excellent driving habits and awareness. Follows all road safety rules and demonstrates defensive driving techniques at all times. Excellent hygiene and appearance: Well-groomed with a professional appearance. You will be interacting with clients and the public, so a neat presentation and good personal hygiene are important.
