As an organization that recently expanded to a national mandate following a long history of working in Ontario, we particularly welcome applications from candidates in other provinces and territories.CommitmentCCHRs Board meets 5 - 6 times per year with two standing committees Governance and Finance that meet quarterly. The board takes a break in July and August, and the Annual General Meeting is held in September.Board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month for about 2.5 hours via video and audio conferencing.Directors serve on one of CCHRs standing committees and contribute to ad hoc committees that are formed on an as-needed basis from time to time. They are also expected to contribute to CCHRs fundraising initiatives and draw upon their networks in support of the organizations work.The total average monthly time commitment is 5 - 10 hours, depending on a Directors position.
