Responsibilities:Develop embedded system applications, with a focus on FreeRTOS and Embedded LinuxWrite software to interface with hardware components, including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensorsDebug existing code and create new embedded applications from scratchApply principles of real-time operating systems (RTOS) to embedded system design and developmentCollaborate with other developers, support staff, and stakeholders to ensure project successUtilize version control tools such as Git and DevOps to manage and maintain the codebaseQualifications:Experience developing software for Embedded Linux or RTOS applications, ideally using FreeRTOSProficient in C programming for embedded systemsHands-on experience writing code that interacts with Bluetooth hardwareStrong understanding of version control systems, especially Git, in a production environmentBasic knowledge of electronic circuit design and PCB componentsStrong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a collaborative teamNice to Have:Extensive experience with Linux environments or RTOS applicationsHands-on experience with FreeRTOSFamiliarity with microcontrollers and development platforms such as Nordic nRF51822, nRF52832, STM32WB55 chipsets, or other IoT firmwareExperience researching and evaluating emerging technologiesSalary Range: $110-120k/yearPlease note that the posted salary range for this role may vary based on seniority, qualifications, or prior experience.
