Job Description

Dog and Pony Studios is an integrated creative and digital agency for B2B brands. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, we are a hybrid agency with remote teams located across Canada, South America and Europe. Were seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our creative team. As a designer on our team, your day-to-day tasks will vary, but the expectation will always be the same: meticulous attention to detail and brand guidelines, careful interpretation of content, clean files, creative solutions anchored in sound design principles and a positive, collegial attitude. Our designers have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including but not limited to:Document layout BrandingAdvertisements (print/digital/merch)MS Office (PPT presentations, MS Word templates, etc.)Data visualizationCampaign development/art directionWhat you offer:A self-motivated, organized and service-oriented professional with extreme attention to detailAn adaptive, fast-learning and naturally curious colleague whos interested in marketing, best practices and design trendsA team member with a positive overall perspective, openness to solving new challenges and a friendly approach to working with people within a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentSamples of your work, including design files, demonstrating the range of your capabilities (please send us samples of layout, PPT, etc.); your creativity; and your approach to design, including art direction, typography, image sourcing, colour palettes, etc. ResponsibilitiesLearn and execute creative solutions in line with our clients brand guidelinesDeliver clean files that can be easily interpreted across teamsCollaborate with clients, project managers, designers and content teams Clarify and justify your methods and design decisions (e.g., provide design notes)Interpret and understand content to ensure design amplifies meaningFlag problematic requests and propose recommended solutionsQuickly switch between different projects and priorities as requiredProofread all work before submitting for reviewRequirements5+ years of corporate or B2B design experienceExcellent English communication skills Superior skills in Adobe Creative Suite and MS OfficeAvailability to work fixed hours and access to a quiet, modern work environment with a stable Internet connection Ability to interpret dense or difficult content Experience with editorial content for brochuresExperience in, or knowledge of, financial services is a bonusKnowledge and experience in events Working knowledge of other languages, particularly French, a bonusWhat we offerGlobal Team: We hire the best professionals from all over the world.
