Job Description

The Training & Development Specialist will support the training needs of PRLs broking teams, focusing on system improvements and workflow optimization within the Applied EPIC systems. This role is ideal for a proactive, technical professional with a strong analytical mindset, capable of designing and delivering effective training solutions. Accountabilities: Design, implement and maintain training programs for system improvements, workflow optimization, and data quality assurance within Applied Epic Systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency and complianceConduct regular analysis of training effectiveness, identifying discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvements in the training content and deliveryDocument and communicate training outcomes, data quality issues, and improvements in a clear and comprehensive mannerCollaborate with business units and the Compliance team to address training needs and reinforce best practices related to data quality and system usageContinuously evaluate and enhance training content and delivery methods to improve operational efficiency and employee performanceDevelop and maintain clear training and workflow documentation to support employee understanding, compliance and system usageDeliver one-on-one and group training sessions based on the system updates, process improvements, or audit findings; provide ongoing coaching to ensure system proficiency Conduct file reviews to assess training effectiveness, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policiesProvide training support for compliance-related functions, ensuring all team members are trained on applicable regulations and internal processMaintain records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes; generate and analyze reports to measure the impact of training on system utilization, performance and complianceAssess and recommend improvements or new functionalities within Applied Epic to enhance system usage, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational goals.The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:Proven experience in training development, system implementation, or data quality analysisExpert-level proficiency with Applied EPIC systems and experience in designing and delivering training on the platformStrong understanding of insurance products, policies, processes and their integration within Applied EPIC systemsDemonstrated ability to design, develop and refine training programs and data quality assurance processes, contributing to continuous improvement Skilled in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues and ensuring effective system usage through trainingAdvanced presentation, facilitating and training skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and ensuring effective knowledge transferExcellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teamsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI to track and report training effectivenessAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectivelyStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detailProactive and curious, with a commitment to staying current with AI advancements, emerging technology trends and training methodsAbility to travel as needed (primarily within Canada) to support training sessions and system implementations.
