This is a seasonal, P/T position (May-October) Job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Processing sales through a POS Conducting tutored wine tastings with customers Acting as a brand ambassador and building relationships with customers Using active sales techniques Food service on the patio Participation in occasional offsite or evening events Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Smart Serve Certified or willing to obtain certification Food Handler Certified or willing to obtain certification available to work weekends experience with, or willing to learn active sales techniques knowledge of wine and/or willing to learn about wine production and tasting profiles (scripts will be provided) outgoing and personable Highly responsible and reliable Ability to work well in a busy, fast paced retail environment Ability to lift 30lbs from shoulder height Compensation is $18-20, dependant upon qualifications.
