Bilingual QA TesterApex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Bilingual QA Tester to be place at our client, a Big Five Bank.Client: Big 5 BankLocation: Hybrid 1-2 days a week, Downtown Toronto, OntarioTerms: 6 Month Contract, Strong possibility of extension based on project budget & candidate performance.Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with some flexibility provided it does not impact the business.Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bilingual QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products across multiple languages and cultures. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in both English and FrenchResponsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects and verify fixes.Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality standards are met.Perform thorough testing of software localization and translation to ensure accuracy and consistency.Identify and report software defects using bug tracking tools and work with development teams to resolve issues.Conduct usability testing to assess the user experience and provide feedback for improvement.Participate in code reviews and provide input on code quality and testability.Maintain detailed test documentation and reports.Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies.Qualifications:2-5 yeas of proven experience as a QA Tester with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.Understanding of Manual and Automation processes.Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Hands on experience with HP ALMExperience with automation testing tools, such as Selenium.Fluency in French and English.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.Comfortable in Agile environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to identify defects.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).Additional Skills:Experience in Finance or Insurance domains.Any experience working in a Contact CenterAODA understandingAny knowledge of the Conformic toolEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
