Position Summary:Nutiva is seeking a seasoned Ecommerce Manager - Amazon to join our dynamic ecommerce team. The Ecommerce Manager - Amazon will be immersed in Nutivas dynamic, fast-paced, and growing environment as a key member of the ecommerce and marketing team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Ecommerce, this role will be responsible for supporting the growth of our Amazon team in sales, PPC management, operations, and trade spend planning. This role will support our 2 brands: Nutiva - a pioneer in organic foods and Coconut Secret - a leading brand of Asian inspired sauces. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive individual with a knack for multitasking and execution. This role requires a deep understanding of Amazon's marketplace from a 1P perspective, strong analytical skills, and the ability to robustly communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Amazon Account Management: This position will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth by managing and optimizing our presence on primarily Amazon US, helping to deliver budgeted sales and profit targets in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders; monitoring Retail performance metrics to drive agreed upon results; manage annual marketing budget and guide marketing/merchandising strategy to align with business needs/goals; leading relationships and ongoing tasks with Amazon vendor managers/customer success managers, inclusive of annual terms negotiations and assortment reviews; and manage Amazon product catalog in Vendor Central, inclusive of partnering with content team/agency on new item setup and digital shelf updates. Implement effective initiatives, processes, and capabilities to maximize performance and ensure sustained success.Responsibilities & Expectations:Business planning and execution: Analyze sales data, promotional performance, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform strategy and make recommendations. Execute comprehensive advertising, digital marketing, promotional, creative, and product assortment strategies to drive ambitious growth targets. Work with Amazon agency to optimize Amazon advertising to drive traffic and sales while meeting key performance metrics. Implement effective initiatives, processes, and capabilities to maximize performance and ensure sustained success.Marketing Leadership & Guidance: maintain annual budgets for merchandising accruals, coupons/deals, and media (paid search and display) that support brand initiatives; Support in building the marketing strategy and investment mix that will drive ideal business outcomes; Optimize price, promotion, advertising, and supply chain to earn strong organic placement on the digital shelf; Ensure all aspects of marketing strategy are aligned and the omni marketing team has details needed to create successful marketing plans with agency partners; Work with Amazon agency to optimize Amazon advertising to drive traffic and sales while meeting key performance metrics; Monitor campaign performance, make real-time adjustments, and analyze key metrics (ACoS, ROAS, CPC, CTR) to maximize ROI.Business operations: Manage all Amazon related business operations including inventory management, listings optimization, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, account health, and other relevant business operations special projects. Ensure compliance with Amazon operations, policies, and guidelines, stay up to date with Amazon policies, tools, and algorithm changes to continuously improve and safeguard account health.Product launches: Execute high quality on time product launches on Amazon by effectively managing the end-to-end Amazon product launch process and coordinating cross-functionally with other relevant internal and external stakeholders.Demand forecasting: Help Amazon demand forecasting, developing accurate scenarios in collaboration with Sr. Director/Supply Chain and iterate these as demand and supply conditions evolve. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely product availability.Reporting and analytics: Provide high quality reporting and analytics on key Amazon performance metrics, identify impactful insights, and convert these into material performance improvements and growth. Generate detailed sales reports, including performance by SKU, category, and geographic region. Prepare reports comparing sales performance against advertising spend. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate sales results and performance metrics to stakeholders.Relationship management: Develop strong collaborative relationships with all relevant stakeholders including Amazon ad agency, Amazon contacts, and other internal functions (Marketing, Finance, Retail, Ops, etc.)Desired Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred5+ years experience in Amazon marketplace (with global experience is a plus)5+ years of experience managing paid media, full-funnel Amazon strategies, and agency partnerships.Experience working with both external Amazon ad agencies and internal Amazon teams; Familiarity with AVS and knowledge how to best utilize, elevate, manage and analyze the service to ensure ROI.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with Amazon advertising tools and strategies, such as Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, to drive targeted traffic and increase sales.Experience with product listing optimization, SEO, and keyword research for e-commerce.In-depth knowledge of Amazon PPC strategies, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and Amazon DSP.Strong understanding of Amazons algorithms, search ranking, and product listing optimization strategies.Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams to include Amazon corporate.Experience with inventory management and fulfillment processes on Amazon.Knowledge of all Amazon operations regarding both 1P and 3P. Experience developing strategic plans for managing larger portfolios with focus on managing consumer demand.
