JOB DESCRIPTION As a Feedlot Worker, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the feedlot, ensuring that all equipment, machinery and facilities are kept clean and in good working order. This role requires a dedicated, detail-oriented and physically fit individual, and the ability to work outdoors year-round in a fast-paced agricultural setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Maintain feedlot cleanliness, including bedding and cleaning pens, cleaning and maintaining alleyways, roadways and equipment. -Operate equipment, tools and machinery, such as tractors, loaders, skid steers, excavators, cattle chutes, etc. -Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of feedlot facilities and equipment. -Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance records. -Assist with cattle handling, processing, and shipping as needed. -Communicate and work effectively with the feedlot team. -Follow all company policies and procedures, and display commitment to the Health and Safety Program. -Perform other miscellaneous farm and maintenance tasks as required. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS -Previous experience working with cattle is preferred, but not required. -Experience in a feedlot setting is a plus, but not required. -Experience operating equipment and machinery (additional training can be provided). -Strong physical stamina, ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying conditions. -Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail, willingness to learn. -Excellent communication skills. -Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment. -Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team and independently. -Valid Driver''s License.
