Growing through acquisition and Organic growth, E360S provides environmental and waste management solutions to municipalities and commercial customers.ROUTE SUPERVISOR We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Multi Residential and City Facilities Route Supervisor to oversee and coordinate our multi residential and city facilities front end and roll off waste collection routes in the Ottawa area. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring efficient route completion, and addressing maintenance and safety issues. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong problem-solving ability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Morning Preparation:Conduct the morning safety talk and relay any important notices to the staff.Ensure trucks are ready and dispatched on schedule.Administrative Duties:Set up the following day's schedule with dispatch.Review and reconcile previous days paperwork and work orders with dispatch.Organize any unresolved work orders for completion.Discuss maintenance issues with the Operations Manager and arrange for repairs or scheduling of spare units.On-Route Supervision:Resolve work orders from the city and check on crew performance and route progress.Forward minor maintenance requirements to operations for repair.Attend to spills and other incidents, ensuring resolution to required standards.Ensure all routes are completed, and all trucks and crews are off the road and parked.Adjust crew or equipment scheduling for the next day as needed.Visually monitor employee performance on route to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Assist with the positioning of front end bins to and from underground parking to an area where the front end truck can collect the waste.End of Day Review:Review outstanding paperwork, work orders, and maintenance issues to be resolved.Other:Plan, direct and coordinate employee routes as neededTrain, coach, and manage employees to achieve optimal efficiency.Investigate all incidentsEnsure company policies and procedures are adhered to.Track and review productivity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Manage escalated customer concerns to resolve them in a timely manner.Conduct regular meetings to communicate updates.Additional duties may be requiredREQUIREMENTS:Experience:3-5 years route management and/or supervisory experiencePrevious waste management industry preferred.Licensing:Valid D/Z license with a clean drivers abstract.Skills:Flexibility and willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of tasks and projects.Communicate professionally with municipal staff and the publicProficient computer skills.Strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to coach and mentor collection staff.Certifications:Standard First Aid and Joint Health and Safety Committee training are considered assets.Shift:Availability to work 10-hour shifts, as well as on Saturdays and statutory holidays, if required.How To ApplyDue to the high volume of resumes we will only be contacting candidates that best meet the needs of the business.
