Job Summary:iVedha is hiring a Senior Solution Architect to support a leading financial institution in modernizing its cloud infrastructure, workflow automation, and banking application architecture. The ideal candidate must have expertise in automated workflow scheduling, Azure Cloud, and enterprise application architecture. This role requires strong knowledge of infrastructure, deep experience in banking application transactions, and a clear understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in financial environments. The candidate will design and document architecture diagrams, align with operational risk management policies, and ensure adherence to compliance frameworks such as OCC, Fraud Prevention Measures, Customer Identification Program (CIP), and Financial Regulations.Key Responsibilities:Architect and Design Scalable Solutions: Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade financial applications, ensuring compliance with banking industry standards and regulations.Workflow Automation & Scheduling: Provide expertise in Apache Airflow, Stonebranch, or other workflow scheduling solutions, optimizing job automation and orchestration.Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy: Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid solutions using Microsoft Azure, ensuring security, resilience, and performance.Application & Transaction Processing: Work with banking applications to ensure seamless transaction processing, high availability, and adherence to compliance requirements.Infrastructure & DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to define CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and cloud-native deployment strategies.Architecture Documentation & Diagrams: Create and maintain high-level architecture diagrams, system flowcharts, and technical documentation for review by technical and business stakeholders.Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams, business users, and senior leadership to translate business needs into compliant and scalable technical solutions.Security & Compliance:Ensure architecture designs align with the financial institutions regulatory requirements, including Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) compliance and fraud prevention measures.Implement Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements to maintain customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) for financial transactions.Support Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance by integrating security, authentication, and monitoring controls within application workflows.Establish Operational Risk Management best practices in alignment with financial security frameworks.Ensure secure integration of banking transaction systems, safeguarding sensitive data and preventing fraudulent activities.Design audit-friendly architectures that meet PCI DSS, GLBA, and BSA compliance requirements.Align with financial industry security controls, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and SOC2 requirements.Required Qualifications & Skills:10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in a financial services or banking environment.Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Kubernetes, Networking, Storage, Security).Deep understanding of banking applications, transaction processing, and financial systems.Experience in designing resilient, scalable, and cloud-native architectures.Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).Proficiency in designing event-driven architectures, microservices, and API integrations.Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, CosmosDB).Strong background in security architecture (IAM, RBAC, encryption, network security).Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.Hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes (K8), and Helm charts for deploying and managing applications.Strong experience in ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack for log management and analytics.Python hands-on experience for scripting, automation, and workflow integrations.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Nice-to-Have Skills:Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, Stonebranch, or other enterprise workflow automation tools.Experience with Hybrid Cloud and Multi-Cloud strategies.Knowledge of Machine Learning workflows and AI-based automation.Familiarity with Event Hub, Kafka, or Pub/Sub messaging architectures.Prior experience with regulatory compliance audits and governance reporting.Why Join Us?Work on cutting-edge cloud and banking solutions supporting a top-tier financial institutions cloud modernization efforts.Exposure to high-impact financial technology projects.Competitive compensation, benefits, and professional growth opportunities.
