Tenure: Full-TimeLocation: Calgary, ABPay Rate: $26/hr.Accountabilities/Responsibilities:Evaluate and enhance inventory management processes to increase efficiency, maximize accuracy, minimize discrepancies and reduce excess inventory.Analyze and scrutinize data to uncover patterns, root causes, trends, and opportunities. Translate findings into actionable insights.Proactively identify challenges within inventory processes and design innovative, data-driven solutions that maximize efficiency and accuracyConduct proper root cause analysis on all inventory discrepancies to be able to resolve discrepancies with front-line employeesMaintain inventory control records, reporting them to management on a regular basisLead meetings to present inventory insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment.Collaborate with supply chain departments to align inventory strategies and share findings.Investigate and perform cycle counts, virtual, aisle and annual audits to ensure accurate stock is monitored and maintainedUse warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resources planning (ERP) toolsEnsure all inventory processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirementsMaintain adherence to safety protocols for inventory storage and handlingUpdate inventory data in systems and ensure data integrityRequired Skills, Experience and Qualifications:Post-secondary education or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years experience working in an inventory planning capacityExperience in working in a Lean driven environmentAttention to detailAbility to work independently and take initiativeSelf-motivatedExcellent knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExisting knowledge of Warehouse processes and Inventory controlsStrong organizational skillsStrong problem solverExpedite solutions in an effective mannerKnowledge of inventory management systemsUnderstanding of warehousing operations and logisticsTeam player with excellent communication skills both written and verbalPrevious Oracle experience would be an assetAbility to work independently and take initiativeAbility to work from 6 am to 2:30 pm weekdays
