OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quarry Manager to join our dynamicteam in the CNC stone fabrication and stone quarry industry. The Quarry Managerwill be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Quarry:overseeing all operations, both on site and in the office, managing workers, andcoordinating production and monitoring all quarry operations. This positionrequires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of CNC stone saws andstone quarry processes.Georgian Bay Marble & Stone Inc. produces highly sought after architectural stoneproducts for outdoor and indoor use.With a reserve of over 5.2 million tons, we'll be around for a long time. 'Room togrow with the company'ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of quarry workers on-site.Delegate and perform tasks assigned by the Owner to help workers meet production goals.Keep track of materials and inventory needs, document all repairs performed, and note any upcoming repairs required for preventative maintenance.Assist in planning and coordinating quarry extraction and production, in conjunction with the Owner.Ensure compliance with OSHA & WHIMIS regulations, company policies, and procedures.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.Prepare and hold regular toolbox/talks and safety meetings.QualificationsExperience in a supervisory role within the stone quarry industry would be an asset.Excellent skills in Health & Safety awareness, WHIMIS, and WHSE practices.Valid driver's license.Experience operating a wheel loader, excavator, CNC stone saws and shot blaster would be an asset.BenefitsDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceVision careWellness programGreat pay packageSchedule Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
