This role involves monitoring regulatory changes, assessing their impact on the organization, and coordination with the company's impacted business areas. The analyst will work closely with the Senior Manager, Policy Governance.The Core Responsibilities!Monitor and analyze regulatory changes to assess their impact on the organization's policies and proceduresAssist in the development and maintenance of internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with regulatory requirementsProvide support in the communication and implementation of policy changes across the organizationConduct regular reviews and assessments of existing policies to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standardsCollaborate with various departments to provide guidance on compliance matters and address inquiries related to policy governance and regulatory changesAssist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to policy governance and regulatory change managementSupport the Senior Manager in the development and execution of compliance projects and initiativesLet's Talk About You!Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance or policy governanceStrong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in compliance and risk managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and accuracy in workProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelWhat we offer (For full-time permanent roles) Competitive discretionary bonus Market leading RRSP match program
