You will work towards goals, in areas of students success, sales, marketing, and school outreach. You need to be activewilling to talk to program directors, test different approaches, pivot marketing strategies, and shake things up when things arent moving.The portfolio you will be managing is: vet tech, practical nursing, sonography exam prep.AnalogyThink of this like managing a franchise location. You are not starting from scratchyou are taking a proven, successful model from our Dental Hygiene brand and applying it to Vet Tech, Nursing, and other brands. Just like a franchise operator ensures that a store is growing and performing well, you will be in the drivers seatmaking key decisions, finding the right people, etc. to make sure each brands thrive.Current situationVet Tech exam prep has already been operating for over 2 years, and have proven to be better than the competition. We need to put fuel to the fire, to help even more test takers. This year, we are putting more marketing efforts. A portofolio manager will work with the marketing team to approach the target customers (students, test-takers), and faculties (who may recommend our program) according to their needs. For example, we are launching a new marketing initiativethe Study Box. Every program director will receive a physical textbook, a booklet, and branded swag to generate awareness. One of your first key tasks will be to schedule Zoom calls with program directors, answer their questions, and offer pamphlets, discount codes, and resources to increase school adoption.Practical Nursing (RexPN) exam, we launched last year, and have proven a demand. We are re-launching our webinar, in Canada first (not the U.S.). The first big priority is producing our new Practical Nursing textbook. The content already exists but needs refinement, more visuals, and formatting. You will oversee this project directly and hire the right people if needed.Sonography (SPI) exam, we launched last year. We have school contracts.Key Responsibilities1. Own & Scale the Vet Tech & Practical Nursing BrandsTake full responsibility for revenue growth, school adoption, and brand expansion.Use our proven playbook from Dental Hygiene (trivia nights, school engagement strategies, marketing automation) to adapt for Vet Tech & Practical Nursing.Develop sales strategiesthis is not just an administrative role, this is about pushing revenue forward.2. School Sales, Engagement & Account ManagementSome schools purchase as groups, with a school discount. Manage the entire process, from initial call to renewal, onboarding with the faculty back end etc. (its not complicated at all).Conduct outreach, presentations, and meetings to increase program adoption. Talk to program directors, faculty, and school decision-makers. Until we hire a School Engagement Coordinator (potential future hire), you will personally drive school outreach and engagement.Build and manage relationships with schools to ensure contract renewals and long-term partnerships.If the school requires a technical support, or anything, you will have to jump in this and find out the solution.3. Marketing & Brand ExpansionWork with the Marketing Manager & team to adjust and optimize advertising, outreach, and campaigns for these brands.Lead brand-specific marketing initiatives, such as:Webinars & trivia nights for schools.Content-driven outreach strategies.Referral programs & partnerships.Help drive new marketing experiments (e.g., different ad strategies, influencer collaborations, targeted email campaigns).Continuously track and analyze brand performance, student engagement, and conversion rates.4. Education & Program DevelopmentYou do not need to be a content expert, but you must understand the exam guidelines well.Work with the education team to improve materials, update content, and enhance course offerings.Hire and coordinate speakers and faculty experts for webinars and trivia nights.Ensure our exam prep materials are accurate, up to date, and aligned with industry expectations.Gather student and faculty feedback to refine and improve our education strategies.5. OtherMarket research, identify competition, strengths, and witnesses, to create a strategy.Conference, attendance and exhibition 2 to 4 times a year in North America. That is US and Canada.Zoom presentation required for some school calls and sales.Artificial intelligence and automation are a big initiative for the company this year. We will, as a team, continue diving into this topic.Team strategic meeting once a year in person.6. TeamworkReport to Claire, founder of the company, who also played this role in the other sister brand, and dental hygiene.The marketing team will assist, as you grow the brands, a dedicated marketing coordinator will work with you.The operations team will assist, as you grow the brands, a dedicated operations manager will work with you.7.
