The SALES MANAGER is responsible for leading sales efforts to expand the companys client base. This person will be a strategic, big picture thinker, preferably with a background in technical sales. Their goal will be to leverage the companys Mechanical, Electrical and Automation & Control skills to approach potential customers with tailored solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and creative individual who enjoys finding ways to provide business value to clients across multiple industries and applications. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively search and connect with new and existing market spaces identifying areas where the company can provide service or solutions. Establish communication with proposed contacts within markets, define opportunities and value added proposals. Collaborate with the project team to develop bid documentation including detailed quote estimates. Collaborate with the Managing Director to build on the Companys current marketing materials and marketing strategy. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Sales/Marketing with relevant Technical or Science studies. Knowledge and experience with industrial machinery an asset. Motivated, self-starter. Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementation skills. Customer focused with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong consultative skills. Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques. Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of tact and persuasiveness. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Access software. Ability to travel; possess a valid passport and drivers license.
