Fetchy is a locally owned, independent pet store in Toronto and were looking to grow the team. If youre passionate about animals and helping pet parents, wed love to hear from you! About the role: As a Sales Associate, youll be responsible for interacting with our friendly customers, providing helpful information to pet parents, and overseeing point-of-sale transactions. Schedule: * Weekend shifts: 10:30am-6pm * Opportunity to pick up weekday shifts available Must be able to commute to Queen St W & Gladstone Ave What you''ll be doing: * Interact with customers and provide helpful information and recommendations on our products * Cashier and customer sales * Inventory, stocking shelves and assist in unloading deliveries * Answering phone calls * General store maintenance functions including sweeping and keeping the store presentable * Other duties and tasks as required Qualifications: * Experience in the pet care industry an asset * Minimum of 2 years customer service and/or retail experience * Must have experienced with pets or own your own pet(s) * Ability to build rapport with customers * Enthusiasm for learning & growth in pet care industry * Possess outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills * Great communication skills What you''ll get: * Competitive wages * Friendly work environment * Free or discounted pet food * Employee discounts * Retail Training & pet care knowledge * Casual Dress code be yourself!
