Title of position: Long Haul Truck Driver- Team Driver (NOC code 73300) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight over long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism in every aspect of driving. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques Professionalism in customer service Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods Number of Positions: (15) Terms of employment: Full-time, 3 years Wage: $33.00 per hour Language: Ability to read, write & speak English Skills/Requirements: Class 1A Driver''s License Be physically fit and be able to work long hours Be flexible to work all days of the week (varied work days) Be self-motivated Have a good attitude and relate well to others Have a clean drivers record Resume required How to Apply?
